Team Solan - Case Study The Introduction Team Solan is a charity which aims to offer support for individuals and families who have been affected by cancer. Despite only being set up in 2015 by founder Mark Solan, the charity has had a meteoric rise to success. Initially setting out to raise £1,000 at a charity event in 2015, Solan ended up raising a staggering £21,315. It was off the back of this that Mark decided to set up Team Solan and since then he has raised thousands more and helped over 250 families in Darlington and County Durham who have been affected by cancer. So much so that in 2017, Team Solan won Fundraiser of the Year, awarded by ITV Tyne Tees.
