Watermains Pressure Testing
Client: Shepherd Gilmour Infrastructure Limited Scheme: Chatham Waters KEY BENEFITS Background Waterco were appointed to undertake the water network design for the development. The design was split into two significant areas; on-site and off-site, both of which had a variety of problems which needed to be resolved as part of the design. The design was required to be in accordance with the Code of Practice for the Self-Laying of Water Mains and Services – England and Wales 3rd Edition and the Southern Water Addendum. Network Design: Problem solving The phased construction project timeline had already commenced with the final buildings anticipated for completion in 2030. When commissioned the first priority was to ensure the phasing programme was understood and key dates
