Client: Coln Park LLP Scheme: The Lakes, Gloucestershire Project Overview The requirement was to undertake a flow and pressure test to ascertain the availability of capacity within the existing local mains network; and evaluate the results of the tests to confirm the network’s ability to supply the proposed new development. The local mains network is hydraulically dominated by the Thames Water Bibury Water Pressure Zone. Thames Water undertook hydraulic modelling to determine whether, or not, any enhancement to the existing network was necessary to supply the new development, while maintaining existing flows and pressures to existing Thames Water customers. The outcome was positive and so site testing was sanctioned. 35 72 24 Domestic dwellings Residential apartments Bed
