VOSPER MANTECH Dismantling Of Radial Dish Satellite Antenna Vosper Mantech - Morewenstow, Cornwall January 2007 The project involved a combination of demolition and dismantling to remove the redundant structure. Initial works involved removal of the radial dish using high reach excavator/shear. The rotating head weighed 168t and was lifted down using a 650t mobile crane during torrential rain. Piecemeal dismantling was effected to remove the tower. All activities were controlled by MOD security conditions.
