Martins Creek Elementary/Middle School and ESA Renewables partnered to create a 999 kW solar array that generates clean, renewable energy for the community. In addition, the school will use the impressive solar array’s monitoring system to teach children how solar works and raise their awareness of energy conservation. The PV system reduces carbon emissions equivalent to the amount that 4,681 trees would sequester per year.
