Canadian Solar delivered 35,000 solar modules to a ground-mounted solar power plant in Villeneuve de Marsan in the Aquitaine region in South-Western France. The 8 MW installation was constructed by EOSOL and the Caisse des dépôts et consignations, and was inaugurated on April 18, 2011. The solar power plant’s production capacity provides enough electricity to meet the average annual demand of about 2,500 households.
