CASE STUDY Municipal Solid Waste Transfer Station 5 Door Coverage HLDA 750 A beach community was experiencing odor complaints from an adjacent upscale condominium complex. The facility had a 5 door station which transferred the local trash into larger trailers to be hauled off to a cogeneration facility. The municipality did not want to use the water based odor control system as they were on a water conservation program, so a waterless vapor system was installed. An HLDA 750 vapor unit was placed along the front of the building with a 2” black plastic pipe system installed around each door opening.
