Challenge The tanks had holes through their shell, floors and lower walls. The tanks were also located in a confined space on the roof of the building. Working within a strict time frame also added to the difficulty of this project. Solution Manual preparation was selected as the surface preparation method. One primer coat of solvent-free, wet & rust tolerant Epo-chemTM RS 500P was applied first. This was followed by two topcoats of solvent-free, wet tolerant Epo-chemTM RA 500M. Outcome The work was completed in three working days with no delays. The tanks were restored
