Since 1974 Problem: One of the challenges of this project was the fact that the rooftops for which a waterproof membrane was required, were situated over the Inner Harbor of Baltimore. A durable membrane was needed for these decks, as they would face harsh weather conditions such as high winds, rain, and snow. Not only that, but the workers were required to wear full body harnesses for fall protection as well as life jackets in case they took a fall into the water.
