Since 1974 Problem: The original deck construction of these condominium units paid very little attention to proper drainage and waterproofing. Over the years, the unit owner covered the decks with outdoor carpet, wood, tile and other materials to cover up damage in hopes of avoiding larger repairs. No deck to wall flashing was installed and the drip edge details prevented proper drainage.
