The K1 development is a 28,000m2 scheme to transform the end of Sloane Street in the Knightsbridge Estate. Automated and Manual Monitoring Systems for K1 Knightsbridge Plans include seven flagship retail units, luxury residential space and offices, and fronting on to the Harvey Nichols department store, One Hyde Park and the five- star Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel. The site was occupied by a mix of dated offices and a small number of retail and residential units, which have since been demolished for the new scheme. The listed building on the southeast corner remains and the Edwardian facades on the main streets have been retained, fronting a new superstructure.
