The design and construction of this new fully-ventilated 5°C Coldroom required great attention to detail to prevent cold bridging at all service penetrations. The coldroom was designed for transient occupancy, presenting a challenge to provide sufficient cooling without the cold drafts associated with the traditional coldrooms. Following careful consideration and detailed calculations a full ventilation system was utilised to serve the coldroom.
