Summary: This company was an existing T aos Managed Services client. They had no centralized monitoring on their retail infrastructure beyond ping, so it was not unusual for a store manager to call T aos to report an Internet outage. We were engaged to develop and implement a monitoring solution to fill this gap. Solution: T aos used a Nagios/Gearman/Chef/Jenkins stack to monitor metrics on over 130,000 devices in all client stores, data centers, and distribution centers. A T aos consultant wrote plug-ins to extract critical metrics and create dashboards for all data centers and distribution centers. Additional scripts were written to monitor online shopping, checkout, and payment process across all client brands. T aos integrated monitoring with the Service Now ticketing system
