A California utilities billing district prints and mails invoices to over 300,000 customers monthly for countywide refuse, drainage, sewer, and water service. Their print-only solution was costly with a slow turn time. Additionally, the cost of customer service phone calls to their call center was very high, as they were receiving 1,500 calls a day with questions or requests for billing informa- tion.
