Using a software-based condition monitoring solution, critical performance data can be collected and analysed to drive improvements. This solution can be scaled to cover thousands of assets, delivering significant savings on operations and maintenance costs and increasing vehicle availability. Challenge To reduce vehicle fleet life cycle costs, improve readiness and logistics, and enhance vehicle specifications with a scalable solution. Solution A pilot project utilising monitoring software was set up to identify and understand key operational metrics, then upscaled to apply to the entire fleet.
