Software suites can model mining operation processes to provide information for increasing efficiencies in the operation that lead to improved yields. Challenge To understand why the mine was falling short of annual yield targets, and to develop efficiencies to put this situation right. Solution Reliability and maintainability modelling using advanced software was used to generate a Cost Benefit Analysis showing the most cost-effective solution.
