Gibraltar Mines is the second-largest open-pit copper mine in Canada, and the fourth-largest in North America. The mine operators were looking for a better way to handle mining data on a day-to-day basis, using methods that support analysis and information sharing. Challenge To improve the management and processing of data during daily mining operations, allowing improved decision- making and troubleshooting. Solution Capstone Technology’s PARCview software solution, including Excel add-in and task scheduler was implemented to streamline data processing.
