A combination of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) oversupply and short-notice production needs create a fiercely competitive market. Production has to be reliable and efficient, despite a number of critical machines from different manufacturers. Therefore, an effective condition monitoring solution is needed. Challenge To provide a condition monitoring solution for a single-train TDI production facility, ensuring effective predictive maintenance. Solution Brüel & Kjær Vibro was selected as a single-source monitoring solution for both critical and balance-of-plant machines.
