Project Description The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) studied and funded this rural ITS installation as part of Federally Funded ITS Rural Deployment Program. The goal of this installation was to help reduce near misses and crashes related to this rural high speed (55 mph) blind bus stop. The system was deployed along State Hwy 67 which is a Minnesota River Valley Scenic Byway with limited horizontal and vertical sight distance.
