Project Description The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s (WisDOT) Management, Maintenance, and Operations (MMO) owns 150+ portable changeable message signs (PCMS’s) located throughout the state. Without a systematic way to track sign location (by GPS), usage, and maintenance records, the department faced many challenges to making the best use of the fleet.
