Returkraft, a Norwegian waste-to-energy plant serving 23 municipalities, lost its control room in an explosion and needed a fast, safe replacement. Partnering with Nordlo and Black Box, they deployed an Emerald PE KVM over IP solution with 13 transmitters, 13 receivers, and Central Power Hubs to overcome limited cabling. The system delivers high-resolution HD video, transparent USB 2.0, and redundant network ports for fail-safe operation. Within three months, a new interim control room was operational, meeting safety standards. The scalable solution ensures redundancy, streamlines operations, and will be repurposed for the permanent facility.
