CarbonWrap ® RETROFIT A QUICKER OPTION THAN REPLACEMENT Problem Several prestressed concrete cylinder pipes (PCCP) at the power plant had failed due to the corrosion of prestressing wires and the high pressure in the pipes. Due to the long downtime required for replacement, and the high replacement cost, this option was not acceptable to the management at the power plant.
