An Eastern European foundry was faced with the challenge of replacing a drum that had been jamming and causing them downtime issues. They were forced to station someone near the drum to monitor jamming for the entirety of the runtime. The foundry learned about the benefits that General Kinematics could bring to the table with the DUCTA-CLEAN® Rotary Media Drum such as cleaner castings and reduced downtime as well as improved sand removal. After seeing the benefits at their other location, the foundry decided to install one in their European process.
