Our client needed a delivery plan that identified public transport solutions in partnership with operators and considered options for improved efficiency of service delivery on the local authority side. The purpose of the strategy statement was to set out a toolset to enable improved journey time reliability by public transport, improved accessibility, reduced dependence upon the private car and a more efficient transport network – all of which aim to facilitate economic growth and safeguard employment.
