Protectahome were approached to survey a pair of semi detached houses in Daventry with a known history of flooding. The building which is utilised as a retail Pharmacy and for living accommodation was suffering from dampness and ground water ingress. In particular, the Basement level was badly affected causing impacting on the living accommodation and the storage area of the business. Protectahome were consulted and asked to prepare a schedule of remedial repairs to overcome the problems being experienced. Our client wanted to retain the current use and merely wished to rid himself of the damp environment and reduce the risks of flooding in the future.
