Case Study Project: Building 9003, Derby Product/System: Traditional Slate System Size/Value: 2,000m2 Our client needed us to take immediate remedial action on an existing slate roof, which over many years had degraded. Slates were slipping and becoming a hazard to workers walking below. Our Slating Team stripped off the whole roof, provided a new breathable membrane and then attached new timber batons, followed by approximately 16,500 new slates. During all works, the site remained in full operation with the building in question occupied, giving no disruption whatsoever to the workforce.
