Case Study Project: New Sports Hall - Garstang High School, Lancashire Product/System: Extensive Sedum Green Roof System Size/Value: 1218m2 Garstang High School were awarded planning permission for a much needed new sports facility, on condition that it made minimal impact on the surrounding countryside. The approved design incorporated an innovative sloping roof with a waterproof liquid membrane and a sedum overlay to blend in with the surrounding hills and countryside. Gables UK Ltd applied a 25 year, root resistant, waterproof system over a new Kingspan Envirodeck profile metal decking.
