BACKGROUND Northern Kentucky University (NKU) was running an aging system to manage its web content when the decision was made to implement a more modern solution. A web content management system (WCM) for this state-funded public university, located in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region, was required to serve its staff and more than 14,000 students. CHALLENGE NKU’s web management relied on an aging Serena Collage configuration that was in need of replacement. 6D Global was brought in to perform a general WCM project health assessment, as well as assist their upgrade from version 5.3 to 5.4 by a seasoned CQ Solution Architect.
