Mexico Border Crossing System Project Description: IRD supplied an integrated Slow Speed WIM screening system to the Administración General de Aduanas in Manzanillo, Mexico through a partnership with Administración Portuaria Integral (API) de Manzanillo. These systems are used to fulll the mandatory importer weight declaration for imported merchandise. The integrated system identies trucks, weighs their cargo and veries the right of the vehicle to carry this cargo. The system includes a single lane of Inductive Loop – SSWIM Scale – DYNAX Axle Sensor – Inductive Loop at the entrance of the port terminal to weigh trucks.
