Northwest Territories Deh Cho Bridge Toll System Project Description: The Deh Cho Bridge is over a kilometer long and stretches across the MacKenzie River near Fort Providence in the Northwest Territories. The Government of the Northwest Territories has signed an agreement with the Province of Alberta to allow PIC (Partners in Compliance) members to be part of the program. The PIC Program is a preclearance program with 25 weigh stations at 16 locations across the province of Alberta. Additionally, commercial carriers can sign on as monthly toll fee remitters with respect to the Deh Cho Bridge tolls. IRD sells the transponders to carriers and the transponders must be registered with IRD. Transponder readers are located on an overhead gantry located approximately one kilometer away from
