Arizona Mariposa (Nogales) Border Security System Project Description: IRD installed a Screening System for the ADOT Mariposa Port of Entry at the US Mexico border crossing near Nogales, Arizona. The Port-Of- Entry Screening System includes the supply of Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) scales, License Plate Readers (LPR), USDOT Readers, Automatic Vehicle Identication (AVI), and an EPIC (Expedited Processing at International Crossings) System. As vehicles in the seven lanes approach the Nogales POE, cars are directed to the Customs building and commercial vehicles proceed to the initial pre-screening area.
