Mandalay Baseball Properties Updates Video Control Room for Dayton Dragons

The Dayton Dragons, a Single-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, needed to upgrade their video, audio, and control systems to maintain their reputation for delivering top-tier fan experiences. With two separate productions—broadcast and in-house—operating from different rooms but sharing components, they required a reliable, scalable solution. Partnering with Black Box, Mandalay Baseball implemented a DKM digital KVM matrix system supporting up to 48 users and computers, with extenders enabling 800-foot server backracking. The solution improved reliability, flexibility, and production quality, giving the Dragons major-league capabilities on a minor-league budget.
