Lofts on Ludington
Lofts on Ludington Case Study First time real estate developer Matt Sviland had a vision to transform the vacant Delta Building in Escanaba, Michigan into a mixed-use property. The completed project, known as The Lofts on Ludington, succeeded in its aim to revitalize the city by adding two new businesses and 15 families to the downtown area. The historic 29,000 square foot brick building was originally constructed in 1900 as the Richter Brewery. Prohibition resulted in Richter’s decline and the building was sold in 1925. Brewing operations were re-established in 1933 by the Delta Brewing Company who occupied the building for seven years.
