The solution involved hardware bring-up and functional validation of the i.MX8QM SoM, along with automating board bring-up tests using Pytest and Selenium. Key features included OS hardening, disk encryption, secure boot support, and software update utilities via USB and network. The dual SOM configuration enhanced multimedia and application processing performance. The solution also enabled remote and local firmware updates, improving flexibility and reducing testing time.
