Hood College adopted KnowBe4 to combat rising phishing threats targeting over 2,500 staff and students. Initial phishing simulations showed a 12% click rate, which has since dropped as training expanded. The KnowBe4 Student Edition, featuring gamified content, achieved nearly 40% completion and strong student ratings. Staff and students now report over 200 suspicious emails monthly using the Phish Alert Button, significantly easing the IT team’s workload. Integration with the learning system and future expansion of training are underway. The program has fostered a culture of awareness and improved campus-wide cybersecurity resilience.
