Overview JW Player is the world's largest independent video platform. With a global footprint of more than one billion unique users, JW Player operates more than 10% of videos on the web, which takes multiple terabytes of data processing per day. To innovate faster, the SaaS-based company migrated from monolithic applications running in the cloud to microservices deployed to Kubernetes, hosted in AWS Cloud. Today, the company is running 1,000 nodes and 100 services across its accounts. Challenge JW Player's migration of all services was a huge undertaking.
