Jake Beach joined Selwood in August 2012 - aged 16 - as a Research & Development Technician Apprentice and qualified in September 2016. In his first six months, Jake attended Southampton Engineering Training Association, full time, to complete an NVQ – Level 3 in milling and turning. On his return to Selwood, Jake started work in the Research & Development department – building prototypes of new pumps, testing, recording results and making changes and amendments as necessary.
