HONEYWELL EXPRESS ONE CASE STUDY
Express One, a Budapest-based subsidiary of Austrian Post, streamlined its delivery operations by implementing a new NFC-based payment system using Honeywell's CT40 handheld devices, eliminating the need for separate card payment terminals. This led to reduced system fees and administrative costs, while also enhancing daily routines for their 600 couriers managing 50,000 consignments daily. The solution, developed in partnership with Rubean AG and Global Payments Europe, allowed for contactless payments, improving efficiency and customer satisfaction. The deployment of 850 CT40 devices with SoftPOS™ software marked a positive shift in operational efficiency and courier experience.
