Hen Eglwys - Caerleon
Case Study SPSenvirowall silicone render and clay brick slips has been specified for this contemporary new build on a popular Caerleon Road area of Newport, formerly the site of St Matthews Church. The façade system has been used on the walls of the new development to provide an attractive and modern finish. St Matthews Church, built in 1890 and closed in 2014 due to dry rot, was demolished to make way for the provision of 14 apartments for residents over the age of 55. Now called Hen Eglwys, the development is an attractive, modern and dynamically designed 3 storey building and maintains a similar style to the church it replaced.
