Kemps was recently specied by StudioFractal to manufacture a set of bespoke ttings for the international departure lounge at Heathrow Airport T3. We worked closely with Target Site Services to realise StudioFractal’s lighting design. The brief was for suspended ceiling lighting above a central seating area. The designs from StudioFractal included twin halo ttings with LED spotlights. These spotlights were positioned at intervals to create scalloped curves of light on the ceiling panels above. We used 18 4000K LED downlights on the 3.3m diameter ring and a further 5 downlights on the 1.7m diameter ring.
