Foley Sports Park | Volkert Location: Foley, Alabama Client: When the City of Foley envisioned a comprehensive sports complex to serve its community, Volkert helped make that vision a reality. Volkert developed a master plan with the Foley Recreation Department for a ninety-acre state-of-the-art sports park. Phase One entailed an overall site plan for the park with multiple fields and facilities for baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, tennis, and basketball. Supporting amenities included walking paths, concession stands, restrooms, picnic areas, an outdoor theater, parking facilities, electrical and lighting capabilities, and a five-acre lake.
