Exploring students decision-making processes for degrees UK University The brief A UK university wanted to extend their course provision to include undergraduate programmes in front-of-stage areas such as Dance and Acting. Our research aimed to explore the decision-making processes of potential students when selecting a degree, before recommending the optimum course structures and brand positioning to meet their needs. Our approach and methodology We delivered this complex project in three distinct phases: Phase 1: Extensive desk research Comprehensive competitor analysis and market sizing Showed the university which types of courses would withstand a new entrant into the marketplace Allowed the university to develop two suitable course propositions based upon our data Phase 2: Focus group
