CASE STUDY EMSWORTH MARINA, UK ROLLING REFURBISHMENT OF FINGER PONTOONS Walcon is conducting a programme of rolling refurbishment at Emsworth Marina, a full-service marina located at the northern end of the scenic and popular cruising ground of Chichester Harbour , on the south coast of England. A family-owned business, Emsworth Marina has a total of 225 berths positioned across five walkways. Walcon Marine has been working with its management since 1971. The programme allows for the replacement of the existing finger pontoons with new System 2000 units, one walkway at a time. In 2014 it was the turn of walkways B and C to receive their new finger pontoons, four years on from Walcon’s previous visit when walkway A was refurbished.
