Employed as Designer and Principal Contractor under the CDM regulations we designed, installed and commissioned a new 3.0 MW steam absorption chiller plant for a pharmaceutical production building. The new double effect chillers were selected to provide a greatly improved energy efficient method of providing chilled water for the HVAC requirements of the production building. Each of the chillers has a cooling capacity of 1.5 MW and a C.O.P of 1.3
