PROJECT SUMMARY This project involved the complete redevelopment of an existing 1960’s office building at the heart of London. Edinburgh House is a prominent building in Kennington and was originally constructed in the 1970’s and fully refurbished in 2004. The building extends over basement, ground and four upper floors, has a net internal area of 68,300 sq ft. and is let in its entirety to the Metropolitan Police Authority. The new plan turns an existing loading bay and car park into a new dynamic central atrium or winter garden at the heart of the development. Full planning permission was secured in December 2016 and Dutypoint were called in to supply the storm water pumping station solution shortly afterwards.
