DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS GETS HELP FIGHTING PNEUMONIA For children around the world, the lung infection pneumonia is an ongoing horror story. Pneumonia is the leading cause of death for children under five, killing 2,500 kids a day. Fortunately, vaccines to combat the disease are available. The high price of these vaccines, however, can be a barrier to access for families, humanitarian organizations, and governments in developing countries.
