Background Lake View is a fairly new nursery, having been established in January 2013. When its doors opened, the nursery had 18 children and four members of staff on its books. Since then, it has grown exponentially and now provides a happy, warm and safe environment for over 200 children aged 3 months to 5 years, looked after by a well-qualified and experienced team of 24. Lake View’s owner and manager, Laura Yarwood, has ambitious plans for the future growth of the nursery and recognises how important it is to retain existing members of staff at the same time as nurturing and encouraging new talent.
