Py-Engineering partnered with Altair to automate complex glass calculations required under Dutch NEN 2608 standards. Traditionally requiring expert FEM knowledge and hours of computation, the process was transformed into an accessible online tool. Using HyperWorks, HyperStudy, OptiStruct, and HyperMesh, Py-Engineering pre-calculated hundreds of thousands of glass configurations and stored results in a knowledge database. New calculations are interpolated instantly and delivered as traceable, certified PDFs. The solution reduced calculation time by up to 50%, cut software costs by 70%, eliminated the need for FEM expertise, and democratized structural glass analysis.
