Container Terminal Gdansk In Poland, HOCHTIEF Solutions constructed the largest privately-financed container terminal in the Baltic Sea region, a turnkey project built in the immediate vicinity of the northern port of Gdansk. The first phase provides capacity for 500,000 standard containers. In addition to building the terminal itself with two berths and 700 meters of quay wall, the project also included the entire infrastructure links to the hinterland. The port has already earned its place as a cutting-edge commercial hub in the Baltic Sea.
