The Community Action Agency of St. Louis County (CAASTLC) implemented DocuWare to improve document management and streamline processes for their various assistance programs, such as LIHEAP, which serves over 44,000 low-income individuals annually. Prior to DocuWare, CAASTLC struggled with a paper-intensive system, leading to delays in processing applications and difficulties with document retrieval. With DocuWare, they digitized records, automated workflows, and drastically reduced processing times for applications. The system also enabled remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring uninterrupted service to customers. CAASTLC has been so satisfied with DocuWare’s efficiency and cost-effectiveness that they have recommended it to other agencies.
